Biographical Information
Migueltzinta Solis ~ [21st century] Canadian

Migueltzinta Solís is a trans Chicanx/mestizXXX interdisciplinary artist, writer and teacher. He works in performance, video, installation, new media and textile. Migueltzinta writes across many genres, and greatly enjoys experimenting with the academic essay form. He has worked in a range of fields including creative consulting, sustainable agriculture, childcare, theatre technology and fine arts education. Migueltzinta holds an MFA in Art from the University of Lethbridge and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from The Evergreen State College. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Cultural, Social and Political Thought at The University of Lethbridge in Treaty 7, traditional Blackfoot territory, where he also teaches art.
