Biographical Information
Joseph Anderson ~ [21st century] Canadian
Joseph Anderson was born in Edmonton, raised in southern Alberta, and lives in Saskatoon. He received his MFA at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008, following a BFA at the University of Lethbridge (2000), and a Visual Communications diploma at Medicine Hat College (1998). He has exhibited his work in numerous group and solo shows, including exhibitions at the University of Lethbridge; the Mendel Art Gallery; and the Dunlop Art Gallery. His work is included in the collections of the University of Lethbridge, the University of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Arts Board, the Mendel Art Gallery Collection at Remai Modern, and Medicine Hat College. Prior to his move to Saskatoon in pursuit of his graduate studies, Joseph was employed as the Curatorial Assistant at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery.
