Andrew Rabyniuk ~ [21st century] Canadian

Andrew Rabyniuk studied textiles at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. He makes images, small objects, and performances that examine various material and social processes involved in the production of space. He has exhibited and performed in group and solo exhibitions across Canada. He has published writing and lectured on contemporary art and craft. His work has been supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. He lives in Tiohtiá:ke/Montréal where he is a doctoral candidate in the Interdisciplinary Humanities Ph.D. program at Concordia University. From 2017 - 2019 he was actively involved with Trap\door Artist-Run Centre in Lethbridge.
